あらすじ
夜な夜な好奇心旺盛な少年と少女が、古いお映画館で映写技師と共にお話を紡ぎ、6つの世界の主人公となります。 その6つの短編作品を通して描かれるのは、愛のお話。

日本での上映時に映画館へ足を運んで見たときは、あまりの美しさに感動しました。西島秀俊さんが吹き替えをつとめたお話もあります。
最近になって再び見て見ると、映像美だけでなく、お話の１つ１つにも深い意味が込められており、歴史や文化的背景も興味深い作品です。
この作品には続編の『夜のとばりの物語 –醒めない夢–』があり、短編という構成は同じですが、中身のお話が異なります。2編合わせて夜更かししたい夜に似合うすてきな作品です。
