「時間がある時にはオペラやオーケストラの演奏を聴きに行くといいよ。」

とアドバイスをもらい、千秋先輩（千秋真一、指揮者）が指揮する「オーケストラの練習風景」を見学する場面です。

わたしは、音大生でも楽器が得意な訳でもありませんが、オーケストラの練習を見に行った経験が忘れられません。

（さすがに、のだめのようにこそこそ隠れて見学せず、きちんと公開日に聴きに行きましたが笑）

私たちが見ることができる「オーケストラの練習風景」は、全国のオーケストラが一般の人に練習風景を公開する様子です。

何でオーケストラの練習風景を無料で公開するのか

オーケストラによって、その時間や練習風景は異なりますが、オーケストラが練習風景を公開する理由は主に２つ。

  1. コンサートの曲をお客さんが入った状態で本番に近い練習をするため
  2. オーケストラのことを知ってもらう広報活動のため

上記のような理由があるから、事前申し込みは必要でも費用は無料のところも多いです。

コンサートホールにクラシック音楽を聴きに行くことは、敷居が高く感じることも多いと思います。

しかし、クラシック音楽は万人に開かれているものです。
